Riverton Workforce Center to Host Open House
RIVERTON - The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services' Riverton Workforce Center will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, September 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 422 East Fremont Avenue. The Open House is intended to welcome job seekers, businesses and members of the Riverton community to learn more about the free services available to business and job seekers. A light lunch and dessert will be provided.
Joan Evans, Director of the Department of Workforce Services, is excited about the Open House. "I am thrilled that the Workforce Centers are hosting open houses around the State. These events give our clients, both existing and potential, a firsthand look at the many services we have available to them," Evans said. "It should be a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to help encourage our relationship building and education about our agency."
Burl Gies, Riverton Workforce Center Manager, shares Evan's excitement about the event. "It is always a nice treat to invite people to the Workforce Center to learn more about our services," Gies said. "Often times our clients come to us facing difficult situations and this event will be a great day for them to come, set their worries aside and enjoy themselves."
