Industry Partnership Grant Available Through Workforce Development Council
CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Workforce Development Council is pleased to announce the release of an Industry Partnership Solutions Grant opportunity for Wyoming businesses and will be awarding selected recipients up to $50,000 for a successful application. Eligible entities are encouraged to apply.
Requests for Proposal (RFPs) including details of submission guidelines have been posted on the Council's website outlining the opportunities that lie within areas of the Wyoming Business Community. The grant seeks to foster partnerships of companies within the same industry with the goal of increasing competiveness for the entire industry on a global economic scale.
Joan Evans, Director of the Department of Workforce Services, encourages those interested to log on to the website for more information. "It is always a pleasure recognizing businesses that are dedicated to building strong partnerships for Wyoming's future. The Council is also excited about receiving these proposals and rewarding companies for seeking workforce solutions within similar industry sectors," Evans said.
Proposals must be delivered to the State procurement office located at 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building, 2nd Floor East, Cheyenne, WY 82002 in a sealed envelope or package by 2:00 p.m. on May 31, 2010. The Industry Partnerships Solutions teams that are chosen will be announced at the 2010 Governor's Summit on Workforce Solutions set for June 17th and 18th at the Best Western Ramkota in Casper.
