NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING RULE CHANGES of the Wyoming Workers’ Safety - OSHA Division

Public notice is hereby given that the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is providing an opportunity for comment regarding its Integrated Workforce Plan, including Wyoming’s Operational Plan, Senior Community Service Employment Plan (SCSEP), and Agricultural Outreach Plan for Program Years 2012 through 2016. This opportunity to comment will last from August 15, 2012 until September 7, 2012. At the conclusion of this comment period, DWS intends to submit its Integrated Plan to the U.S. Department of Labor.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING RULE CHANGES of the Wyoming Workers’ Safety - OSHA Division
This is to advise you that the Department of Workforce Services, Occupational Health and Safety Commission, intends to consider proposed rule amendments to revising the Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations for Oil and Gas Well Drilling standards. There will be a public hearing on these proposed rules on May 11, 2012 at the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission Bldg, Hearing Room #129, 2211 King Boulevard in Casper. If you have any questions regarding these rules, please call (307) 777-7786 or visit the Workers’ Safety OSHA website at http://www.wyomingworkforce.org
The hearing will start at 9:00 AM.
Persons present at the hearing will be afforded the opportunity to present written or oral comments as well as comments, data or arguments received by Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Commenters may request a statement as to why their views were overruled. If requested, the statement will be issued within thirty (30) days after the Commission action. You may also send public comments via email to:
oilgas-comments@wyo.gov by May 2, 2012.
The proposed rules are available for review at the Workers’ Safety OSHA website http://www.wyomingworkforce.org or during normal business hours at the Cheyenne Business Center, Room 126, 1510 East Pershing Blvd in Cheyenne, WY and may be copied at the interested person’s expense. The Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission Bldg is handicap accessible. Anyone requiring an accommodation to attend should call (307) 777-7786 by April 25, 2012.

The Wyoming Workforce Development Council will hold a meeting on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Rock Springs High School at 1375 James Drive in Rock Springs, Wyoming and Friday, November 5, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Western Wyoming Community College in Room 1003 at 2500 College Drive in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The purpose of this meeting is to tour the Health and Energy Academies at Rock Springs High School and Western Wyoming Community College, hear a progress report on strategic plan initiatives and continue discussion and setting of key performance indicators, hear an update from the Department of Workforce Services, hear reports from Serve Wyoming and on the Wind River Job Corps, allow for committee discussion time, and review fiscal reports. The general public will be provided the opportunity to comment throughout the meeting, as appropriate, and additional open discussion and public comment will be taken starting at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
