Honoring Outstanding Wyoming Employers Demonstrating a Strong Safety Culture and Excellence in Safety and Health Programs
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has extended the deadline for nomination submissions to July 25 for the 2012 Governor’s Safety Awards. The awards will be presented at the annual Wyoming Safety Conference.
Wyoming OSHA, a division of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) will honor 10 outstanding Wyoming employers demonstrating a strong safety culture and excellence in safety and health programs. The conference will be held on August 8 at the Best Western Ramkota (800 North Poplar Street) in Casper.
Employers with an outstanding safety and health program are encouraged to apply for an award in the fields of general industry, construction, oil and gas or mining in the following categories:
- General Industry: Large Employer
- Construction: Large Employer
- Oil & Gas: Large Employer
- Mining: Large Employer
- Mine Site Contractor: Large Employer
- General Industry: Small Employer
- Construction: Small Employer
- Oil & Gas: Small Employer
- Mining: Small Employer
- Mine Site Contractor: Small Employer
