On March 24, 2018, we learned that four of our commonly used Unemployment Insurance applications experienced a catastrophic system failure which resulted in a destruction of data potentially affecting individuals who accessed the applications from March 21-23. The four impacted applications are:
- IVR (for filing continued claims)
- TIC (for filing Internet initial & continued claims)
- WIRE (for employers to report their quarterly filings)
- Employer Registration (for employers to register new businesses)
Employers should be aware that any scheduled electronic funds transfers for quarterly Unemployment Insurance or Workers' Compensation filings schedule on March 21-23 may not be processed. New business registrations dated March 21-23 may also not have been processed.
While the applications affected are currently up and running we have not been able to recover the destroyed data. If you accessed any of the four applications listed from March 21-23 please be aware your claim, registration, or payment may not be complete.
We sincerely apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this may have caused. We also want you to know that while the data was lost due to system malfunctions the security of your personal information has not been compromised.
